I have a PhD in Applied Economics and a Masters in Business Engineering. I'm currently a professor at Singapore University of Technology and Design where I teach data science and artificial intelligence. Years ago, I got inspired to take trading more seriously after reading 'Reminiscences of a Stock Trader', which is the story of epic trader Jesse Livermore's life. The 'wild' stock market of 100 years ago reminds me of our current day cryptocurrency markets.
